This is Steve, he was inspired to help others learn to safely lift after recovering from a back injury. Steve joined the Marine Corps, where his role was to load bombs onto an aircraft called the F-18 Hornet. During his time as a sergeant, he noticed that his Marines would get debilitating back and knee pain. This is due to developing a poor foundation of lifting before adding quantity. After leaving the military, he got his bachelors of science, where he found a passion for biomechanics. He is now determined to take his knowledge and apply it to those around him to make his community stronger through functional fitness. When Steve isn’t lifting, he spends his time reading, camping, gardening, cooking, and fighting in a power struggle with his cat.
